Transformations 4 Life Boot Camps
All fitness levels are able to participate due to the unique design of our boot camps. Since the creation in 2008, our boot camps have serviced near 200 men and women.  We are a team at Transformations 4 Life, we use our time and talents to encourage each other and be involved in our communities.

Some important facts according to the American Heart Association:

  • Tennessee ranks 2nd in the US for adult diabetes (tied with Mississippi) and 4th in the US for adult hypertension.
  • Tennessee ranks 4th in the US for obesity among 10-17 year olds and 6th in the US for obesity among adults.
  • Tennessee ranks 3rd in the US for adult physical inactivity

Our mission is to educate Tennesseans on healthy eating and the importance of daily exercise. It is our mission to create a community that invests in their own health.

Our camps are designed to be quick and effective. Each class ranges from 30-45 minutes from beginning to end and includes warm up, high intensity workout, and cool down stretches.  All sessions are on timed reps, so everyone moves at their own pace and fitness ability. Campers range from  18-63 years of age. All that is needed are 5-10 lb dumbbells (depending on your exercise ability), an exercise mat, and water. Camps are held outdoors , weather permitting, indoors otherwise. Each week you will be educated on nutrition: topics include:

  • How to design a well balanced meal
  • How often to refuel
  • Reading food labels
  • The importance of water & how much
  • Cardio suggestions
  • Motivation and Goal Setting
  • Measuring Progress

No workout is repeated! We believe in a fun and positive environment! No yelling or negative feedback at our camps! We want you to succeed and to believe in yourself! Camps are small and personal, only 12 slots will be filled at any camp. You may sign up during a camp if spaces are available.
Camps are taught by Julie Wilcoxson, a certified personal trainer! “We’re here to have fun and reach our fitness goals and I love watching my clients transform and push themselves outside of their comfort zones. I have also watched beautiful friendships form during camp.”
